Akrom Hossian is dedicated to public service in general and specifically dedicated to improving access to care. Akrom lives in Long Grove with his family. He has been an executive at healthcare corporations in Illinois for the last 20 years. During these times, Akrom worked with various organizations to bring parity between physical and mental health services.

Akrom joined Vernon Township Mental Health Board as he is passionate to connect community-based care organizations with payer and provider communities for cost-effective care models.
