2. SHS Student Parking Permit Application - Prairie View Metra Station

   This is the Stevenson Parking Permit Application for the 2026-2027 School Year. 

   Please make sure to fill this form out completely and to provide accurate information regarding the best email with which to correspond, as that will be the main form of contact with the Township. If you would like to receive a copy of this application, please make sure to enter your preferred email a second time at the bottom of this form. 

   A reminder that students will NOT be assigned parking spaces. This means it is CRITICAL that you provide us with accurate plate numbers to avoid ticketing. 
   
   Additionally, all student parking spaces will be in the East parking lot of Prairie View Metra Station (the one closest to Stevenson) ONLY. 
   
   Any student found parking in the West (Commuter) parking lot even with a permit will receive warnings and continued parking in the wrong lot may result in towing.
   
   Payment for and receipt of your parking permit will be arranged with the Township by email. If the applicant does not come at the arranged pickup time, we cannot guarantee permit availability. 
   
   Parking permits are not considered valid until payment has been received by Vernon Township. Simply applying for a permit does NOT mean a student is covered for parking at the Prairie View Metra Station. Until a permit has been paid for and picked up, students must continue to pay the daily rate.
   
   Payment may be made in cash, check (made payable to Vernon Township), or credit/debit. Please note that any payments made with credit or debit cards will also incur a 3% convenience fee.
   
   WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE. 
   
   All payments must be made IN PERSON at the Vernon Township Administrative office located at 3050 N Main Street in Buffalo Grove.

   • Monthly - 40.00 
   • 1st Half Year (Aug-Dec) - 154.00
     (one month free vs monthly)
   • 2nd Half Year (Jan-May) - 156.00
     (one month free vs monthly) - Only sold beginning Dec 2026
   • School Year (Aug-May) - 310.00
     (two months free vs monthly)
